Our Beliefs
Jesus is the divine Son of God
Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life, died on the cross for the sins of the world, and his body was raised on the third day. After forty days he ascended and sits at the right hand of God.
There is one God
God is one God, but is revealed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is called the trinity.
Scripture alone is God’s inspired Word
The scripture given to us by God contains revelations on how we should act and live in Him.
We are saved by grace alone.
We are saved through the grace of God. We cannot earn this gift of love and salvation he gives to us.
God chose us.
Before we chose God he chose us not only to be saved, but also to serve.
Humans are sinful
We tend to put other things before God, or we try to dominate over others. We believe God wants us to help make this world a better place.
We receive God’s grace through faith
God gives us his grace for free. It is up to us to accept it through faith, a child-like trust.
God has a covenant with us
We live in a covenant with God, and also with one another to live disciplined, orderly lives in accordance with his Word.
God is loving and good
He is majestic, loving, and righteous. He works in all things for the good of those who are called for his purpose.
We are the stewards of God’s creation
We are the administrators of His creation given to us. We believe in simple lives, and in using God’s gifts as He would want.
