Session is the elected governing council of the church. The elders on session normally meet the 2nd Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. The New Testament word for elder is presbuteros, and the name “Presbyterian” indicates this form of government. We believe Jesus Christ is the head of the church, and elders are to be people of prayer who study His Word to discern His will.
